Job Description Join us in bringing a new approach to medical and wellbeing care for detainees by: Providing individual and group counselling sessions to address a broad spectrum of psychosocial issues, including mental health, eating disorders, domestic violence. Conducting detailed psychosocial assessments to identify client needs and strengths, and developing personalized treatment plans. Offering immediate support and intervention during crisis situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records, including assessment results, treatment plans, and progress notes, in compliance with legal and ethical standards. 0.6 FTE position available The position is 9-5 (negotiable), 3 days per week, preferably Tues, Thurs and Fri. We also welcome applications from registered Psychologists. Let's talk about you! A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling AOD, or a related field. Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a counselling or Psychologist work role, preferably working with diverse populations facing various psychosocial issues. Demonstrated experience in providing group-based treatment. Current registration with a professional body (e.g., ACA, PACFA, APHRA or equivalent).
