Aircraft painter (cairns)

Overview
We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined
Aircraft Painter
to join our team in
(Cairns, QLD)
. If you're a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you're the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.
Responsibilities
Proven experience as a painter, with a good understanding of different techniques and materials preferably in the aviation, automotive or railway industry
Sound knowledge of paint preparation, paint mixing as well as application processes
Skilled in paint repairs, color matching and polishing
Familiar with paint related products and manufacturers
Good physical condition
Able to work independently and as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment
Strong attention to detail, committed to deliver high-quality work
Australian Citizen or with full working rights in Australia;
Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and,
Current Australian Driver\'s licence
Shifts run Monday to Friday across mornings and afternoons, with occasional weekend or night work when required.
