**About the role**
BaptistCare Gracewood Centre is seeking Carers to join their team on a casual basis. As a carer you'll get to know your residents and their needs and preferences during your shifts.
**Duties may include**:
- Assistance with a wide range of person centered care in accordance with care plans
- Assistance with medication
- Simple wound dressing
- Assistance with activities under supervision
- Working with each resident to continue to do the things they love
Skills & experience
- Previous experience as a Carer (desirable)
- Transferable skills in providing care and compassion to others
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (desirable)
- OR willing to complete Certificate
- We encourage Nursing students to apply
**About BaptistCare Gracewood Centre**
Located in the heart of the Hills district, The Gracewood Centre is a brand new aged care centre in Kellyville featuring convenient onsite amenities including a café, landscaped gardens and a chapel. The facility offers 96 general care rooms and 32 secure dementia care rooms with built in ceiling hoists.
As a purpose built facility, the latest technology has been included to ensure residents are well looked after. Our team of professional staff are dedicated to delivering the best possible care to residents. The Gracewood Centre is an integral part of the wider community and is co-located on site with a Social Club, Home Care and Retirement Living.
