Overview
This Finance AI Specialist role with Mercor in Sydney, NSW, Australia partners with a leading AI research group to develop finance‑specific knowledge systems for advanced AI agents. The role is mid‑level, project‑based, and requires deep finance expertise and robust AI prompting capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex finance concepts into AI‑readable formats.
- Prompt, test, and refine AI agents for improved domain‑specific performance.
- Create reusable instructions, templates, and best practices for AI agents.
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers on validation and design.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in finance, investment banking, private equity, or hedge fund preferred.
- Strong practical understanding of financial modeling, transactions, or research workflows.
- Demonstrated expertise using and prompting AI tools (e.g., GPT, Claude).
- Ability to write clear, structured content for both human and AI consumption.
- Self‑directed, highly organized, and able to work independently.
Opportunity
