The chance
An exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst to join a high-performing Corporate Development team based in the Perth.
This team is responsible for evaluating and delivering acquisitions, alliances, divestments, and other growth opportunities, as well as supporting the review of major internal projects.
Key responsibilities include:
Build and maintain detailed financial models for major investments and projects, including both new developments and existing operations.
Support the assessment and evaluation of strategic business opportunities across various sectors.
Conduct commercial and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Prepare clear, insightful reports and presentations to communicate trends, risks, and key findings to stakeholders.
Provide commercial input and analytical support for M&A; activities and investment evaluations.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Business, or Accounting.
Experience in corporate advisory, corporate development, investment banking, or management consulting.
Advanced financial modelling skills with proven valuation experience.
Strong strategic thinking abilities and a cooperative approach to problem solving.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to go beyond the numbers to identify key insights.
A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
CA or CFA designation (or working towards) will be highly advantageous.
