About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate disability support worker to join our team. As a disability support worker, you will be responsible for providing physical and emotional support to individuals with varying levels of needs. This may include assisting with domestic chores, personal care, and transport, as well as helping to develop and maintain a safe living environment.

Main Responsibilities

* Provide direct support to participants with disabilities in their daily lives;

* Assist with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and laundry;

* Support participants with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and toileting;

* Develop and implement individualized plans to promote independence and participation;

* Maintain accurate records of participant's progress and activities;

* Work collaboratively with other professionals and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care;

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* A Certificate III in Disability or relevant qualification;
">
* Experience working with people with disabilities, preferably in a community setting;

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

* A valid driver's license;
">
* A Working with Children Check and National Criminal Record Clearance;
">
* NDIS Worker Screening;
">
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
