Events & partnerships manager

Chain Group
Partnership Manager
Posted: 11 February
Offer description

Are you the organiser in your friend group? The one who brings the group chat to life and turns "let's do something fun" into an unforgettable experience? Imagine bringing that same energy to a role that manages a global events calendar, delivering experiences that people actually remember.

Enter the Chain Social Events & Partnerships Manager - a creative, strategic, and commercially minded leader, bringing our brand to life through premium, disruptive events.

This role starts part‐time (3 days per week) and will step into full‐time as we open the doors to Chain Place, our very own chic co‐working and events venue, later this year.

So, who are we?

We're so glad you asked. Chain Social is a female‐led digital and creative agency located on the Mornington Peninsula. We service some of Australia's biggest brands across beauty, fashion and lifestyle, such as MECCA, Millie Savage, NALA, Your Reformer, Funday Sweets and more. We're proud of who we are and the work we do for our clients; our brand identity is sacred, and we've spent the last 10 years building it with a team of tenacious and passionate women at the helm.

About the role

As our Events & Partnerships Manager, you'll combine structure with creativity to bring Chain Social's events to life, from sold‐out masterclasses and networking nights to epic parties, international retreats, and content tours.

You'll manage every detail end‐to‐end, from logistics, timelines, and vendors, to on‐the‐day delivery. You'll be commercially sharp, pitching and securing strategic partnerships that enhance attendee experience and overall business impact.

On top of managing events, you'll take ownership of Chain Place, our chic co‐working and events venue launching in late 2026. You'll shape it into a thriving, revenue‐generating hub, driving bookings, partnerships, and commercial success while ensuring every client and guest experiences a premium, seamless service.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan, manage, and execute company events end‐to‐end, from sales and logistics to vendors, collateral, and attendee communications
* Drive revenue and impact through strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and ROI‐focused event management
* Take full ownership of Chain Place, managing bookings, operations, supplier relationships, and client experiences
* Collaborate with leadership to innovate new events and offerings, grow the Chain Social events calendar, and elevate Chain Place's visibility

The Ideal Candidate

You're an experienced events and partnerships professional with at least 4 years of experience in managing premium events (ideally in‐house or in‐venue). You thrive in managing venue and events end‐to‐end, from vendor coordination to on‐the‐day execution, and bring a strong local network to the table.

Highly organised and solution‐oriented, you can juggle multiple projects, timelines, and moving parts with ease - and you're calm and adaptable when plans change. You're passionate about creating seamless, memorable experiences and building strong relationships with clients, partners, suppliers, and internal teams.

Confident working both independently and collaboratively, you bring warmth, professionalism, and a can‐do attitude that inspires trust and delivers results.

A little more about us

We may be biased, but hand on heart believe we're part of one of the best workplaces in Australia, and the 2024 Culture 100 Award agrees. Being part of our tight‐knit Chain Social team means you'll enjoy a culture‐first attitude that's at the heart of everything we do, and highly valued by our Founder & CEO.

Big things are happening at Chain in 2026. Our chic new Mornington HQ will be opening in a few months, complete with a wellness centre and sauna (yes, really). Later this year, we will be opening another coastal office - Hello QLD! Think client WIPs at 4 pm, toes in the sand by 5 pm (say less!).

What's in it for you?

In addition to working out of what might just be the chicest marketing office in Australia, here's what else we can offer you:

* Flexible work hours because we know the juggle is real.
* Hybrid working environment (2-3 days in office, rest from home)
* A nurturing female‐led environment where pop culture is always encouraged
* A coastal office location in Mornington (and soon to be QLD), so you can clock off and head to the beach for a swim/walk (or a drink, depending on your day)
* We've recently started a Christmas season tradition of a team event. Last year was a Super Yacht on the Sydney Harbour, the year prior? Jackalope Hotel takeover and flying in Peking Duk to perform.... because we work hard and relax harder.
* Ongoing fun monthly team events so we can get to know each other.

Sound like the perfect role?

Big brands, bold ideas, and a team that's going places. Apply now, and you could be a part of the journey
