Terang College is a Foundation-12 school situated in the rural town of Terang, 220 km west of Melbourne and 45 km east of Warrnambool. The school consists of three sub-schools: early years (Foundation to 4), middle years (years 5 to 8) and senior school (years 9 to 12). Currently, the College has around 50 staff members—Principal, two Assistant Principals, a Learning Specialist, two Leading Teachers, a Business Manager, Teachers, Education Support and Well-being staff.
In July ****, Terang College amalgamated its P-4 and 5-12 campuses to create a unique learning hub with the local kindergarten and the P-4 campus of the Hampden Specialist School, also located at the Strong Street campus. Recent facility upgrades include a comprehensive Science/Technology Building, Primary Centre, Learning/Library Hub, and a Trade Training Centre.

Responsibilities
Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
Contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area.
Undertaking other classroom teaching-related and organisational duties as determined by the School Principal.
Participating in meetings, camps and excursions.
Completing non-teaching supervisory duties.
Qualifications & Requirements
Registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
Qualified to teach and/or have demonstrated experience in the curriculum area(s) specified for the position.
Possess provisional or full registration approved by the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
If completed an Australian postgraduate level initial teaching program or course of study on or after 1 January ****, demonstrate successful completion of an accredited initial teacher education program.
If graduated from a Victorian Initial Teacher Education (ITE) program after 1 July ****, demonstrate that you have passed the literacy and numeracy test for initial teacher education (LANTITE).

Teachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach and/or have demonstrated experience in the specified curriculum area(s).
