HR Advisor to strengthen the Human Resources & Onboarding function across the business.
Supporting a highly skilled white-colour engineering workforce, this role is critical to ensuring seamless recruitment, mobilisation and retention of talent.
Reporting to the Group Manager – HR & HSEQ and working closely with the Recruitment Manager, you will bring proactive management, attention to detail and excellent communication skills to the role.
Your work will directly influence the way ECG attracts, welcomes and retains its people.
Key functions of the role
Work with the Group Manager to provide a seamless Human Resources integration.
Work with the Recruitment Manager on boarding & mobilisation of personnel.
Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process including advertising, screening, interviewing and reference checking.
Organise inductions at a global level.
Assist with contractual terms and conditions including rate and rosters.
Take ownership of every new recruit's first day, from setting up their desk/computer/phone/software access, to ensuring their first day sees them knowing they made the right choice in joining ECG.
About you
A confident, outgoing personality, and the ability to motivate and persuade by phone, face to face, and finally in written communication.
Strong communication skills (oral and written) and the confidence to work with all business levels.
6–24 months' experience in a generalist Administration or Advisor capacity.
Experience in Human Resources or a related field an advantage but not essential.
Ability to remain positive and upbeat while working to deadlines and under pressure.
Microsoft Office skills (Excel and Word) and ideally experience with HR information systems and tools.
Initiative, ownership, integrity and confidence.
Ability to manage several projects at any one time.
