Job Description
As an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting surgeons during robotic-assisted surgical procedures. Your primary objective will be to promote the effective use of Zimmer Biomet's range of products, including our integrated digital platforms such as mymobility.
This platform is designed to inform care decisions and enhance connection between patients and surgeons. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the proper use of the ROSA surgical robot, maintaining and troubleshooting medical technology equipment, and providing training and support to hospital staff on Zimmer Biomet products and implants.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in robotic-assisted surgical procedures, ensuring effective use of Zimmer Biomet's products
* Manage surgical equipment requirements for each case, promoting ROSA and mymobility utilization
* Utilize mymobility to enhance patient-surgeon communication and care decisions
* Stay updated with new surgical techniques and provide in-service training on Zimmer Biomet technologies and implants
* Collaborate with hospital staff to train and support them on the ROSA surgical robot and other Zimmer Biomet technologies
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Nursing, Paramedicine, or Sports/Exercise Science
* Minimum 4 years of industry experience
* A passion for health, the human body, and advancing technologies to improve patient lives
* Curiosity and innovation: a strong desire to explore new ideas and drive advancements
* Technological proficiency and ability to handle advanced medical technology
