We operate across the full asset lifecycle – from early concept studies through to existing operations. With a growing pipeline of decarbonisation projects, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Energy Engineering Consultant to join our dynamic team. This broad role will work closely with our Technical lead to provide client consultation across a diverse range of energy infrastructure solutions.
The Role
Collaborate with the consulting, project and technical teams to bring your knowledge and capabilities in renewable energy and decarbonisation disciplines.
Provide support to business development efforts in interfacing with customers and be capable of actively maintaining, identifying and executing growth opportunities for the business.
Manage programs of work both in consulting and development aspects of the ResourcesWA business, this will at times involve the balancing of multiple streams of different work programs, schedules and priorities.
Review energy load and generation assessments in accordance with best industry practice, including data quality control, energy yield analysis and layout design.
Contribute to technical risk assessment and mitigation efforts, identifying potential issues and proposing appropriate solutions.
Support tender development processes and the evaluation and selection of suppliers and subcontractors on behalf of clients.
Consult on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and relevant regulations to support client project improvements.
Develop reports, proposals and assessments to meet all relevant standards and industry best practices.
Complete high-quality engineering design and ensure appropriate third-party due diligence.
Requirements
Bachelor of engineering qualification or similar discipline.
Highly developed communication skills – both written and verbal and the ability to consult at senior management levels.
Project development experience in energy and renewables sectors.
Passion for the resources, energy and decarbonisation sectors.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team to achieve high-quality, cost-effective outcomes for clients.
