Job Opportunity: Cancer Nurse Educator

Nurse Educators are pivotal leaders within nursing and education, serving as role models in professional practice. They embody the values of Nursing Services by exemplifying excellence and fostering an environment conducive to continuous learning.
As a recognized resource for staff, Nurse Educators assist clinical nurses in achieving optimal patient care outcomes. This position will collaborate with Cancer services at Alfred Health to meet the educational needs of nursing staff within the clinical program.
Key Responsibilities:
* Determine and respond to the developmental needs of nurses and the clinical environment.
* Collaborate with local area and organizational stakeholders to establish and implement plans that enhance nurse capabilities.
* Provide leadership and guidance on best practices in cancer care.
* Develop and deliver targeted education programs addressing nursing staff needs in cancer care.
Requirements:
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Nursing & Midwifery Board.
* Possession of or working towards a Master's degree in Nursing or Education.
* Previous experience in an education or support role.
* Demonstrated extensive relevant clinical knowledge and experience in acute/sub-acute care nursing and clinical leadership.
