Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Technician to join our clinic-based laboratory team. This role supports the delivery of high-quality restorative and cosmetic dental work by fabricating and assisting in the production of dental appliances to precise clinical specifications. You will work closely with dentists to ensure accuracy, functionality, and aesthetic quality across all cases.
Key Responsibilities
* Interpret dental prescriptions and technical instructions for appliance fabrication.
* Prepare dental models from impressions and digital scans.
* Assist in the fabrication and repair of crowns, bridges, veneers, and other dental restorations.
* Support workflows related to Invisalign and clear aligner cases.
* Work with materials including zirconia, ceramics, PMMA, and composite resins.
* Apply knowledge of dental anatomy, occlusion, and restorative principles in technical work.
* Ensure proper fit, function, and aesthetics of dental appliances.
* Finish, polish, and adjust restorations to meet clinical standards.
* Perform quality checks prior to case completion.
* Maintain a clean and organised laboratory environment.
* Collaborate with clinicians to support treatment outcomes.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Diploma or higher qualification in Dental Technology or related field (or equivalent).
* Minimum 1 years of relevant experience or equivalent clinical/technical training in dentistry.
* Overseas-qualified dentist or candidates with a dental background will be highly regarded.
* Understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, and restorative concepts.
* Experience with CAD/CAM or digital dentistry advantageous.
* Exposure to Invisalign or clear aligner workflows desirable.
* Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong listening skills to follow instructions and ensure precise technical outcomes.
* Able to collaborate effectively with a diverse team in a professional dental environment.
* Confident in explaining technical details when required, especially for cosmetic and Invisalign cases.
* Professional telephone and email etiquette for liaising with patients or suppliers.
