Director South West Region Job Description
About the OpportunityMain Roads Western Australia is responsible for managing and developing WA's road network—over 18,500 km of roads across 2.5 million square kilometres.
We plan, build and maintain a state asset, working closely with government agencies and local authorities to deliver an integrated transport system.This is a key leadership role focused on delivering measurable outcomes for the safety, reliability and performance of the State Road Network across the South West.
Job Responsibilities:
* Lead the direction, operational delivery and long-term planning for the South West Region.
* Develop regional programs, manage project delivery and engage stakeholders to ensure the network supports the South West regional community.
* Negotiate and collaborate with local governments, industry partners and community representatives to foster continuous improvement and professional development.
Requirements:
* Proven ability to lead regional operations with clear objectives, consistency and influence outcomes across complex road infrastructure, projects and stakeholder scenarios.
* Effective leadership skills to negotiate, collaborate and facilitate across various groups.
