Duties
* Coordinate the management of offender compliance, surveillance and electronic monitoring.
* Manage a team of staff, develop rosters and ensure tasks and responsibilities are allocated and coordinated to best meet service delivery, quality standards and time frames.
* Provide feedback, supervision, guidance and mentoring to staff, undertake performance management and development. Support training and on-going development of knowledge, competence and professional judgement.
* Provide assistance and advice to the Manager, Monitoring and Compliance Unit on operational, administrative and staffing matters.
* Undertake quality management functions including conducting audits and reviews to ensure adherence to policies and procedures and the delivery of effective outcomes.
* Contribute to business planning processes, developing and reviewing program functions, systems, policies and procedures.
* Contribute to effective offender supervision, care and management through coordination and communication with case management staff to manage risk and offender behaviours.
* Consult with appropriate staff and stakeholders in regard to MCU operations and service delivery.
