The Role
We are currently seeking a passionate and committed Early Years Leader who will have the chance to own this role as the Coordinator of Girrabanya Integrated Children's Service.
You will provide leadership and manage all aspects of the Girrabanya Integrated Children's Centre including Kindergarten and Occasional Care by ensuring that the service is offered in accordance with the National Quality Framework, the Victorian Department of Education Kindergarten Funding Guidelines, the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, the City of Ballarat Children's Services Practice Guide for Educators, Council policies and procedures and the objectives of both the Family & Children's Services unit and the City of Ballarat.
As the Coordinator you will have close and tailored support from the combined the Manager Integrated Children's Services, the Children's Services Leadership Team as well as connection to other City of Ballarat Children's Services and the broader Family Youth and Children's Services including Maternal Child Health, Supported Playgroups, Parent Place and an Administration team.

About You
With a genuine interest in meeting the needs of children and their families you will demonstrate an ability to lead a team of early year professionals with a holistic approach to the care, education and development of children that reflects an awareness of the wellbeing of children in your care.
Your strong communication and relationship building skills will see you foster and sustain partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders including parents, colleagues and community members. You will have a natural ability to motivate and lead staff to achieve desired outcomes within parameters of the service.
The successful applicant will hold relevant tertiary diploma or higher in accordance with the National Quality Framework and the Education and Care Services National Regulations or relevant substantial professional experience in Early Years' services.
