In the role of
Sales Business Development Manager,
you will manage and grow customer accounts in the fashion make to order sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship management skills, an understanding of apparel production lead times and retail cycles, and the ability to drive sales performance while ensuring an exceptional client experience. You will serve as the key liaison between customers, design, and production teams to deliver tailored apparel solutions that meet client requirements
Key responsibilities:
* Manage and grow a portfolio of accounts, from well-known local fashion retailers to B2B corporate-wear customers
* Identify new business opportunities and drive sales targets
* Collaborate with design and production teams on customer briefs
* Oversee orders from quotation to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
* Provide sales forecasts, insights, and market intelligence
To be successful within this role, you will have:
* 5 years as an Account Manager / Sales Executive / Business Development Manager within fashion
* Strong understanding of garment construction, production timelines, and wholesale sales cycles.
* Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage key customer accounts.
* Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
