Speech Language Therapist – Community Health
The role of a Speech Language Therapist in community health is multifaceted. It involves working with children and their families to provide assessment, intervention, and consultation services.

The Children’s Health and Wellbeing Local provides holistic support that considers all aspects of a child’s life. You will be part of a new service combining community health, mental health, and family support services.
You will have opportunities to work with priority populations across various local government areas. The main site is located in Cranbourne, with satellite sites throughout the catchment.
To succeed in this role, you will require a recognised degree in Speech Pathology (Bachelor or Master level), including overseas qualifications assessed by Speech Pathology Australia within the past two years. Eligibility for membership as a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) with SPA is also necessary. Additionally, experience providing speech pathology assessment and intervention to children between 0-11 years and their families is required.
