What you’ll do:
As a Technical Support Specialist you will provide technical support to the APAC business as an Agent within the Technical Support Desk (TSD) function. You’ll also assist the Operations Team with troubleshooting equipment issues and coordinate technical solutions for complex Sales enquiries.
The main responsibilities include:
- Operate as an Agent of the Aggreko Technical Support Desk, providing quality support to our customers
- Monitoring of support desk enquiry, processing and resolution by system metrics
- Liaise with client’s technical staff and visit potential job sites, as required, to verify job needs.
- Create and maintain all Standard Work Instructions relevant to our current and recent products to support all maintenance activities.
- Evaluate and produce technical/component specific reports on new/existing fleet assets.
- Provide effective and specialist technical support to operations.
- Contribute to evolution of the help desk function, process and system (software) development.
- Liaise with Aggreko Sales, Technician and Management functions to provide technical solutions
- Assist Aggreko technicians with troubleshooting, equipment operation and process queries
- Support sizing and specification of generator, load bank, electrical distribution and refrigeration systems
- Analysis and interpretation of technical drawings to determine parameters for safe and efficient connection of power packages to customers’ electrical distribution systems
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
- Exceptional customer service
- Post-secondary qualification with relevant experience to meet key responsibilities.
- A good communicator, both written and oral.
- Strong computer design skills.
- Team player, able to work autonomously to achieve own and team KPI’s
- Promoter of continuous improvement philosophy
- Creativity and problem solving
- Multi skilled technical ability
- It is highly desirable if you have experience as an electrician, electrical technician or electrical design.
