The Role
We're seeking experienced, safety-focused Scaffolders to join our dynamic team for ongoing maintenance works at Worsley Alumina. Based on a newly awarded Pilbara based project on a 2:1 FIFO roster, we are currently recruiting experienced Polywelders. Our scope includes the collection, unloading and stringing out of 20km of HDPE and HDPE Butt welding utilising McElroy and Ritmo welding equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Cutting, aligning, and preparing HDPE pipe and fittings
* Setting up welding equipment and ensuring correct calibration
* Monitoring temperature, pressure, and timing to meet welding specifications
* Ensuring welds comply with relevant standards
* Competent and comfortable performing Butt Welding
About You
* Polywelding Qualification
* Minimum 2 years experience in Polywelding
* Experienced in the operation of McElroy and Ritmo machines
* Ability to utilize data loggers to track and trace welds
* Work unsupervised with a strong focus on Health and Safety compliance
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical and D&A screen
* Hold a current C class drivers license
* Proof of Australian working rights
* Already have or can obtain police clearance
* Hold a current Telehandler competency advantages but not essential
* Construction White card
