The Program Manager, Permissions Reform drives and coordinates reform of the use of licences, permits and authorisations (regulatory permissions) by the Conservation Regulator. The Program Manager, Permissions Reform will ensure a collaborative and intelligence-led approach to improve the way regulatory permissions are administered, making them more efficient, more enforceable (with clear conditions/requirements that can be readily assessed against) and to ensure that regulatory permissions are focussed on the highest environmental risks. Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications Relevant qualifications (in fields including environmental science, social science, business, law, public administration) will be highly regarded. Demonstrated understanding of regulatory permissions and experience in their administration is essential. This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
