About the role:
Bunnings East Pakenham are seeking Casual and Full-time Pick Packers to join their team! Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends is required to provide best experience to our customers.
Our Trade Centres provide a delivery and pick up solution for key building lines, offering our commercial customers a service, delivering bulk quantities of stock to work sites. We partner with our commercial customers, helping them manager their project with a 'whole of build' solution. We stock a select number of core builders' lines, that allows our customers to build from the slab up. Everything from timber, insulation, cladding, windows, doors and appliances. Our Trade Centres take the pick/pack and delivery of these bulk products out of our store environment which allows our stores to focus on giving the best customer experience and supporting other trades.
What's involved:
* Pick and pack orders
* Load and unload products on delivery trucks
* Ensure orders are dispatched in full and on time
* Stock replenishment
* Help drive the Bunnings' culture and participate in fun activities
What you'll do:
* Pick and pack orders with precision and care
* Load and unload products on delivery trucks, utilising machinery as required
* Ensure orders are dispatched in full and on time
* Replenish stock to keep our operations running smoothly
* Use equipment and machinery to safely move stock and organise products
Who we're looking for:
Safety is our top priority, and we need team members who can think and act safely in a fast-paced distribution centre environment.
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* A current forklift license is ideal but not essential
* Experience in warehousing, dispatch of deliveries or picking and packing of orders, or voice picking is ideal but not essential
