About the Role
Developing life-enriching habits and promoting independence are at the forefront of our participant-centric approach. We seek a skilled and empathetic individual to join our team as a Habits Coach/Allied Health Assistant.
This rewarding role involves working under the guidance of experienced Allied Health professionals to deliver face-to-face and non-face-to-face support services that bring about tangible improvements in participants' lives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Collaborating with participants in their home or community environment to foster growth and development
* Receiving comprehensive on-the-job training from leading Allied Health professionals to enhance skills and knowledge
* Engaging participants using an empathetic approach to model new routines and skills, and providing prompting when necessary
* Operating within the scope of the role, respecting the boundaries of a habit coach and therapist
Key Qualifications and Skills:
* Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and respect scope of practice boundaries
* Consistently maintaining clear focus on participant goals and outcomes while demonstrating flexibility regarding tasks
* Self-motivation, reliability, and autonomy in work
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
* Working rights in Australia
