Customer Service Officer – Bendigo Bank
Permanent, full-time position located in Mt Beauty. Full-time hours are 76 hours per fortnight. Part-time is also an option – let us know your preference in the application.
Your role as a Customer Service Officer puts you in the driver's seat of service delivery, giving you autonomy to help customers achieve their banking goals. Whether you're assisting with transactions, educating on online platforms, or recommending products, you'll have a direct impact on people's lives.
Responsibilities
Explore customers' needs through in-depth conversations to help them reach financial goals and partner with specialists within the branch.
Keep up with constant change and support customers with digital literacy and online banking needs.
Be the face of the branch and customer service – process transactions, handle cash, investigate queries, assist with paperwork while maintaining risk considerations.
Embrace lifelong learning; we provide on-the-job training and external development opportunities.
Build connections – support customers, give back to the community, and enjoy the experience.
Qualifications
Experience in a customer service environment and ability to achieve targets.
Strong attention to detail to ensure secure, accurate transactions with a risk mindset.
Confidence in communicating with customers face-to-face and over the phone.
Eagerness to understand and share what makes the bank different.
Teamwork mindset – mateship is crucial to achieve our goal.
Experience in banking and finance is a plus but not essential.
