About the Role:
As a senior hospitality professional, we are seeking an experienced leader to take on a Venue Manager position at our busy suburban pub. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing day-to-day operations across bar, bistro, gaming and bottleshop.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead venue operations and manage a team of department managers and supervisors
* Drive sales performance, profitability and compliance
* Champion great service and a positive workplace culture
* Oversee rostering, training, and venue presentation
* Work closely with head office on marketing, events and community partnerships
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a 2IC, Assistant Manager or senior Duty Manager in a pub or large hospitality venue
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Understanding of financial performance and compliance requirements
* A people-first attitude – you lead from the front and support your team
* RSA, RCG and TAB compliance certificates (required)
