We currently have an opportunity for a Site Engineer to join our team and support the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture (RRJV).

We currently have an opportunity for a Site Engineer to join our team, with relevant Building / Building Services background. This position will support the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture (RRJV), which is a 50/50 joint venture between Downer and CPB Contractors, to undertake major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities.

We are seeking candidates with NV1 Security Clearance to be part of our team on the redevelopment project, covering the Albury Wodonga Military Area, Blamey Barracks (Kapooka) and the RAAF Base Wagga.

This is a site-based role for the RAAF Base Wagga area, with relocation packages being offered.

What you'll do

The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:

* Managing the effective set-up, delivery and completion of the project including establishing relevant systems.
* Managing and monitoring the completion of the project to ensure programme, budget, quality, environmental and contractual obligations are achieved and taking prompt corrective action where required.
* Effectively managing the handover process to the client.
* Reviewing design and construction plans, schedules, temporary works designs, method statements and job safety analysis and quality.

What you'll bring

* Hold or able to obtain an NV1 Government Security Clearance (must have)
* A relevant Engineering Degree with relevant Building / Building Services experience.
* Proven engineering experience delivering complex projects of medium to large scale, with multiple stakeholders and deliverables.
* Development methodologies to ensure compliance with scope of works and technical criteria (within discipline)
* Demonstrated commercial experience to include planning up to 3 months ahead, weekly reporting on progress against plan and cost, reporting on risk and developing and implementing risk treatment plans.
* Development of SHEQ process and procedures and managing others in conducting SHEQ process and procedures.
* Candidates must have the ability to travel between sites from time to time.
