The Opportunity As a Mission Systems Technician, you’ll take ownership of the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and ongoing support of complex airborne systems across ISR platforms. Working in a highly technical environment, you'll support both field operations and ongoing capability enhancement activities. This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on problem solving and wants exposure across aviation systems, RF technologies, networking and advanced mission equipment. Key Responsibilities Install, configure and maintain airborne mission systems Perform system checks, diagnostics and corrective maintenance activities to ensure mission readiness Troubleshoot RF, network and system integration issues Support Windows and Linux administration activities Conduct software loads, firmware updates and configuration changes Work with technical equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers and signal generators Support integration and validation of new hardware and software capabilities Provide technical reporting and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives What We're Looking For Experience supporting airborne, defense, communications or other mission-critical technology environments Strong understanding of RF concepts, signal paths and networking fundamentals Experience with TCP/IP networking, routing and troubleshooting Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation Exposure to Windows and Linux systems administration Hands-on troubleshooting mindset with strong attention to detail Experience with ISR technologies, radar systems, tactical communications or avionics environments would be highly regarded Certifications such as CCNA, Security or similar are advantageous Additional Information Brisbane or Perth based Travel requirements of approximately 50% Australian Citizenship required Must be capable of obtaining or holding NV1 Security Clearance If you're looking for an opportunity to work with leading-edge technology in a challenging and rewarding environment, we'd love to hear from you.
