Position: Rescue Paramedic

Position Overview:
We are seeking highly skilled Advanced Care Paramedics to deliver exceptional clinical services, including patient assessment, treatment, triage, and evacuation to several of our client locations, in compliance with state regulations.

* Travel is FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville or DIDO if eligible
* Several full time & casual positions available throughout Queensland
* Rosters are dependent on site (7 days on/7 days off or 14 days on/14 days off)
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in management of Company Personnel who use prescription or non-prescription medication via the Company medication declaration process, and where required develop medication management plans.
* Provide health monitoring assistance by identifying and monitoring Personnel with non-work-related conditions e.g., high blood pressure.
* Handle a wide range of cases from primary healthcare to emergency presentations, with support from experienced on-call emergency doctors.
* Deliver top-notch pre-hospital care, ensuring the highest standards of patient treatment.
* Coordinate patient transport solutions, whether by road or air, ensuring seamless transitions to higher care facilities.
* Maintain and ensure the functionality of medical equipment, medications, and consumables.
* Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure the smooth daily operations of the medical clinic.
* Adhere to company policies, clinical protocols, and procedures at all times.
Qualifications required:
* Bachelor of Paramedical Science (or equivalent)
* Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA
* Current Manual C Class Driver's License
* Advanced Life Support – renewed every 2 years
* HLTPAT005 Collect Specimens for drugs of abuse
* HLTAID011 Provide first aid
* HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
* Operate and maintain 4WD RIIVEH305F
* Standard 11
* Coal Board Medical
* Immunizations for Tetanus and Hepatitis A & B must be up to date [evidence will be required]
* Successful completion of CPH&M Groups clinical scenario assessment
* Proof of working rights in Australia
Desirable:
* Certificate III in Emergency Response Rescue (or equivalent)
* Minimum electives completed:
o RIIERR201 - Conduct fire team operations
o PUAFIR207 - Operate breathing apparatus open circuit
o PUASAR024 - Undertake Road Crash Rescue
o PUASAR025 - Undertake Confined Space Rescue
o PUASAR032 - Undertake Vertical Rescue
o PUAFIR320 - Render Hazardous Materials Incidents Safe
o HLTAID014 Provide Advanced first aid
o HLTAID015 Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy

o UETDRMP018 Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel
