Known for their strong reputation and financial stability, this growing business is now seeking an experienced Finance Manager to play a key role within their team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll take ownership of the finance function while leading a small, stable team.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee job costing and track project performance against budgets
* Partner with project teams to monitor contracts, compliance, and cost variances
* Manage budgets, forecasts, and cashflow
* Support and oversee accounts payable/receivable processes, including subcontractor payments
* Ensure data integrity within Jobpac and resolve complex coding/reconciliation issues
* Manage tax obligations (BAS, GST, FBT, payroll tax)
* Oversee timesheets, expenses, and financial controls
* Improve financial systems, processes, and reporting
* Lead, mentor, and support the accounts team
* Partner with the Financial Controller on reporting, insurance, and policy management
About You
* Proven experience as a Finance Manager or senior finance role
* Background in construction or project-based environments
* Strong financial reporting and analytical skills
* Experience with Jobpac or similar systems (highly desirable)
* Advanced Excel skills
* CPA/CA qualified (or working towards) preferred
* Strong leadership, communication, and attention to detail
