Lead Specialist Consultant

About this role
* This is an opportunity to work on a variety of projects internally and within the public and private sector.
* You will work closely with the Business Group Leader, providing direction and technical leadership on projects and collaborating with the wider Australian Service Line and Market Leaders.
Your responsibilities
* Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with clients, project directors, and project managers through the pursuit, tendering, and delivery phases of projects.
* Contributing to the growth of our Planning, Consultation, and Urban Design Business Group in WA.
* Working with the Business Group Leader on business development and marketing.
* Providing direction and technical leadership on projects.
* Creating and implementing stakeholder engagement and communication strategies, community engagement plans, communication materials, social performance plans, and/or social impact assessments for a diverse range of clients.
* Preparing reports, developing communication materials, organizing and attending community events, delivering stakeholder workshops, and client presentations.
* Working with team members to build and develop their skills to ensure the continuing success of the team.
We are looking for
* Experienced professionals who can demonstrate proven experience working in stakeholder engagement, communication, and/or social performance projects in one or more of our market sectors.
* A tertiary qualification in social science, communication, commerce, or a related discipline.
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills together with the capacity to be flexible and adaptable.
* An ability to understand and analyze complex information and conduct quantitative and qualitative research.
* Good commercial acumen and professional networks, with previous business development or consultancy experience considered desirable.
* Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, including the ability to manage conflict and conversations with external stakeholders.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, including meetings and presentations both internally and externally.
* Proven leadership qualities with the ability to manage people, resources, and workloads.
