Position Overview
The KRS Nurse Practitioner, will be based in Kununurra on a Full‐time basis, you will play a vital role within the Kimberley Renal Services Team, contributing your medical expertise to advance efforts in preventing, detecting, and managing chronic kidney disease. You will work under the guidance of the KRS Senior Medical Officer and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including renal health specialists.
* Provide medical input into the planning and development of renal services in the Kimberley region.
* Support continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient health outcomes and service efficiency.
* Deliver medical support to haemodialysis patients in coordination with the Renal Health Centre Managers and regional health services.
* Engage in educational initiatives to raise awareness and understanding of kidney health within the community and among healthcare providers.
* Participate in research and training opportunities to further knowledge on chronic kidney disease.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nurse Practitioner who embodies our commitment to Aboriginal Community Control and possesses strong leadership qualities.
* Eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse with an endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.
* Demonstrated extensive professional experience and expert clinical knowledge in renal health.
* Excellent interpersonal communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and across various service providers.
* Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required.

Salary & Benefits
This role offers a base salary of $164,311 per annum pro rata, along with attractive benefits such as:
* Accommodation allowance of $13,000 per annum pro rata,
* Annual airfare allowance of $1,800 (after 12 months of service)
* Relocation reimbursement up to $5,000 (upon providing receipts)
* Optional salary sacrifice up to $30,000 per annum pro rata.
