Role Description/Criteria
a commitment to evidence-based best practices, with experience in or a capacity to enact explicit and direct instruction approaches/strategies
an understanding of Structured Literacy and a knowledge-rich curriculum
strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an eagerness to learn and improve within a team environment
an ability to use student assessment information to inform instruction
an ability to promote student wellbeing and engagement
a strong ability to develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents and colleagues
have a firm commitment to Catholic education
be familiar with and comply with the school's child-safe policy and code of conduct, and any other policies or procedures relating to child safety
Special Requirements
All applicants should be accredited to teach in a Catholic school or demonstrate a willingness to achieve accreditation to teach Religion in a Catholic school
All applicants require VIT registration (or expectation to obtain for graduates)
