You will be a key part of the finance team, helping to prepare accurate financial reports for Council and coordinate the end-of-year program. Your expertise will be valued as you assist with managing our asset accounting, ensuring compliance, and providing quality advice on capital programs.
Your day-to-day will focus on core (BAU) activities, including overseeing the reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and administering GST/FBT obligations. We are also looking for someone with a collaborative spirit who enjoys identifying opportunities for process improvement and working with the team to implement them.
You are a qualified Accountant (CPA, CA, or IPA) with a diligent work ethic and a high level of analytical skill. More importantly, you build positive relationships with ease, communicate clearly and respectfully, and find real satisfaction in supporting your colleagues and contributing to the team's success.
