Workforce Development Coordinator
This role plays a pivotal part in driving initiatives that promote diversity, equity and inclusion within the construction industry.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing programs to boost workforce training and participation targets. This position is key to a NSW Government initiative aiming to increase gender equity and promote inclusivity on government construction projects.
Main Responsibilities
* Increase participation rates: Develop strategies to improve the representation of women, apprentices and trainees on site.
* Upskill the workforce: Encourage construction workers to engage in education and training initiatives.
* Provide targeted support: Offer ISLP support aligned with project-specific goals.
Key Qualifications: Strong understanding of NSW Government training policies, experience in training administration within a medium to large organisation, ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and build effective working relationships.
