Introduction

Bindaree Food Group (BFG) is a vertically integrated supply chain business delivering global meat solutions both domestically and internationally and has solidified its position as a prominent leader in the Australian meat industry.

This is a pivotal role within our plant, playing a critical part in driving safety, injury prevention, and effective return‐to‐work outcomes. As the Injury Management Advisor, you will be a trusted point of expertise for managing workplace injuries while partnering closely with leaders, employees, and medical providers to support safe, sustainable recoveries. In addition, you will assist with pre‐employment assessments, ensuring a positive candidate experience and supporting informed fitness‐for‐work decisions. Through this work, you will help shape a capable, healthy, and future‐ready workforce while strengthening our safety culture and overall performance.

* Manage WorkCover claims, insurer relationships, and legislative compliance
* Partner with leaders, employees, and medical providers to achieve safe, sustainable RTW outcomes
* Drive injury prevention through risk assessments, job task analysis, and ergonomic recommendations
* Support pre‐employment assessments, delivering a positive candidate experience and fit‐for‐work decisions

* Working knowledge of NSW Workers Compensation legislation and RTW principles

* Experience supporting or coordinating pre‐employment medicals and fitness‐for‐work assessments
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to compliance and continuous improvement
* Knowledge of red meat processing plant operations (highly regarded, but not a deal breaker)

* Ongoing training and development to support your career progression
* Access to a Salary Packaging Benefits Program and other benefits from Australia's biggest retailers
