Family & domestic violence advocate

As a Safe at Home - Family Safety Advocate, you will provide support to women and children experiencing family and domestic violence to remain safely in their home, or a home of their choice. The role involves safety planning, case management, advocacy, and connecting clients with support services to promote safety, stability, and wellbeing. Working within a trauma‐informed and client centred framework, you will support people to make informed choices while advocating for their rights and safety.

• Safety planning for clients.
• Case management and advocacy.
• Connecting clients with support services.
• Promoting client safety, stability, and wellbeing.
• Support clients in making informed choices while advocating for their rights and safety.

• Strong communication skills.
• Empathy, professionalism, and respect for diverse communities.
• Current driver's licence.
• Police clearance.
• Working with children check, or willingness to obtain.

60+ hours a fortnight (or full-time)
