Foreman needed for busy Wollongong based Building and Construction client.
This is a permanent position and immediately available, successful candidate can start in early January.
Duties
Supervising construction workers and subcontractors to ensure tasks are performed correctly and promptly.
Planning daily work schedules, project tasks, and resource allocation to meet project timelines and budgets.
Reviewing construction plans and specifications to maintain accuracy and quality of work.
Conducting regular site inspections to enforce adherence to safety and building regulations.
Training new team members on operational protocols and safety procedures.
Communicating effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders about progress and issues on site.
Problem-solving on-site issues and making quick decisions to prevent project delays.
Maintaining detailed records of construction processes, worker attendance and project costs
Qualifications
Previous experience in a Foreman role is essential and High Rise experience would be an added advantage.
