Job Description Town Planner Brisbane | Private Consultancy A well-regarded planning consultancy is looking to appoint a Town Planner to join its Brisbane team. This is an opportunity to join an established consultancy working across a broad range of development projects throughout Queensland. The business has built a strong reputation for delivering considered planning advice and maintaining excellent long-term client relationships. They are seeking someone who can step in and contribute across the full planning process while managing projects with a reasonable level of autonomy. The Role Working closely with senior planning professionals, your responsibilities will include: Preparing and managing development applications Undertaking planning assessments and site investigations Providing planning advice to clients throughout project lifecycles Liaising with councils and relevant authorities Coordinating input from external consultants Managing project timelines and deliverables Preparing reports, submissions and supporting documentation About You To be considered, you will bring: Prior town planning experience within a consultancy environment Experience preparing development applications Understanding of Queensland planning frameworks and approval pathways Strong written communication and report writing skills Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines Confidence dealing with clients, consultants and authorities Relevant tertiary qualifications in Town Planning or similar Australian working rights and driver’s licence Why this role This is a solid opportunity for a planner wanting to join a respected team with quality work, a professional client base, and strong long-term career prospects.
