Support Worker Role
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with acquired spinal cord injuries in their homes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs, using hoists as required
- Grooming, bathing, dressing, and dental hygiene
- Personal care, including toileting, bladder, and bowel management
- Basic wound care and self-medication

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, household duties, and laundry
- Drive clients to appointments and social activities
- Provide personal care, including grooming, bathing, and dressing
Requirements
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Ability to work a fixed fortnightly roster (morning, afternoons, evenings, and overnights available)
- Current driver's license and reliable vehicle
- NDIS Workers Screening and Blue Cards (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in the field or relevant qualifications
