Job Overview
The Senior Manager Fleet, Network and Freighter Operations plays a pivotal role in designing, leading, and executing Qantas Freight's network and fleet strategy across International, Domestic, and Tasman operations.
* Leads end-to-end operations for Domestic, Tasman, and international freighter networks, ensuring seamless execution of commercial and operational objectives.
* Develops short- and long-term plans to optimize asset deployment, aligning with strategic goals and business objectives.
* Oversees day-to-day operations for the Domestic and Tasman freighter network, manages international freighter operations, and handles contract management from start to finish.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of professional experience, including 5 years in airline roles related to network, fleet, freight, or revenue management. A tertiary qualification in a logical and/or analytical discipline is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Network and Fleet Strategy: Develop and execute Qantas Freight's network and fleet strategy, driving business growth and optimizing asset utilization.
Operations Management: Lead end-to-end operations for Domestic, Tasman, and international freighter networks, ensuring efficient and effective execution of commercial and operational objectives.
Contract Management: Manage international freighter operations and handle contract management from start to finish, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
Requirements:
