On 1 January
Alfred Health will come together with Kooweerup Regional Health Service, Peninsula Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service to create Bayside Health, a newly merged health service with more than 22,000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians.
The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives.
The merger will also strengthen our workforce, providing new training, education and career opportunities.
Subject to final approval on 1 Januaryall employees from the five health services will transfer to Bayside Health.

The Department
Caulfield Hospital provides healthcare in acute care, ABI, rehabilitation and in outpatient clinics.
Support Services provides the core Support Services of Non-ward Cleaning, Gardens and Grounds, Distribution, Security, Ward Support, Food Services and Car Parking.
The position of Support Services Cleaner is a key operational role within the support services team.
The Role
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Support Services Cleaning team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the provision of high-quality cleaning services.
As the ideal candidate, you will have a background of cleaning experience within Health and Aged Care Facilities or equivalent and possess excellent communication skills.
You must be flexible with your working availability as these positions include weekend shifts.
Skills and Experience Required
A high level of flexibility and motivation to achieve set standards, contribute to Occupational Health and Safety and understand and practice infection control principles is required.
This role requires the following skills :
