About This Opportunity

The End User Computing (EUC) team provides high-quality technical support to University staff and teaching spaces, ensuring a reliable and effective digital working and learning environment. This role is responsible for delivering first- and second-level IT support, maintaining end-user devices and teaching space technology, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key responsibilities will include: 

* Providing first- and second-level technical support for end-user devices, applications and peripherals across Windows and macOS environments.

* Supporting the deployment, maintenance and management of end-user technologies, including SCCM, Intune, JAMF, virtual desktops and printing solutions.

* Delivering high-quality customer service through effective communication, incident resolution and follow-up to ensure user satisfaction.

* Supporting teaching space technology, asset management and contributing to projects such as PC replacement programs and system upgrades.

This is a full-time, continuing position at HEW Level 6.


About You

You are a customer-focused IT support professional with strong technical capability, problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic support environment.

* A diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience.

* Demonstrated experience providing end-user technical support across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and common applications.

* Strong working knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, with experience using tools such as SCCM, Intune, JAMF, Active Directory and Group Policy.

* Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues under pressure.

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to support non-technical users effectively.

* Experience working with IT service management and ticketing systems, with a commitment to accurate documentation and knowledge sharing.

* Ability to manage competing priorities, work collaboratively with other IT teams and contribute to project delivery.

* Willingness to provide on-site support across locations and participate in after-hours work when required.
