Labourforce Forklift Operators – Perth's Eastern/Southern Suburbs
Labourforce is recruiting experienced high reach forklift operators with cold storage experience for multiple client sites in the Perth area. The role involves working a Monday‐Friday roster in chilled & freezer environments, picking and packing food products, using double‐deep reach to collect two pallets at a time, and loading/unloading trucks with a counterbalance forklift.
The position offers a pay rate starting at $33 per hour (casual loading included) with an additional hourly freezer allowance when applicable. Immediate starts are available.
Responsibilities
* Work a Monday‐Friday roster including AM shifts (start times 3:00–10:00 am).
* Operate high reach forklift – collect two pallets simultaneously using double‐deep reach.
* Operate counterbalance forklift to load and unload trucks.
* Pick and pack food products in chilled and freezer environments.
* Meet key performance indicators for productivity.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Unlimited Australian working rights.
* High reach forklift operator experience essential.
* Experience in chilled and freezer environments essential.
* Proficiency with double‐deep reach (camera attachments) ideal.
* Hands‐on pick‐pack experience in a busy distribution centre.
* Voice‐pick experience preferred.
* Willingness to train other candidates.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Computer literate.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Fit, healthy, and able to perform heavy lifting when required.
* High level of work pride and teamwork ability.
All candidates must pass a pre‐employment medical that includes drug and alcohol screening.
