Plumbers play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of essential services in remote and complex environments. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that critical systems are functioning optimally.
The Role
* This position requires direct reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, where you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of camp facilities, including Rooms, Kitchen, Laundry, and Offices.
* You will conduct thorough inspections of plumbing systems and advise Unit Managers on potential hazards and non-compliance with standards.
* In addition to regular duties, this role offers extra allowances such as On Call, 3-Hour Minimum Call Outs, and Leadership positions.
The Candidate
* A valid WA Plumbing Licence is mandatory, along with a WA Gas Fitting G Class Licence covering Installation and Servicing.
* Candidates must possess a current Australian Driver's Licence and hold a White Card, with a Police Check completed within 12 months.
* A Pre-Employment Medical, including Drug and Alcohol Screening, is also required.
* Applicants should have extensive knowledge of maintenance procedures and workplace health and safety regulations.
* Fully able to undertake FIFO travel from Perth Airport, adhering to a permanent ongoing roster.
