Business Analyst – Business Case Specialist Adelaide | 3-Month Contract | ASAP Start
We're seeking a Business Analyst experienced in developing clear, evidence-based business cases, especially within asset-intensive environments.
About the Role
You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to shape investment decisions, build robust business cases, and provide the analytical backbone for asset and infrastructure initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing
Leading the end-to-end development of strategic and investment-grade business cases.
Undertaking analysis related to asset management, asset lifecycle planning, infrastructure investments, and capital works.
Facilitating workshops to capture needs, constraints, risks, and benefit profiles.
Turning ideas and problems into structured, decision-ready documentation.
Partnering with Finance on cost–benefit analysis, financial modelling, and ROI projections.
Preparing options analysis and presenting recommendations to senior leaders and governance boards.
What You Bring
Strong Business Analyst experience, ideally within asset management, infrastructure, utilities, or other asset-heavy environments.
Proven capability in writing business cases that get traction, clear logic, structured options, and strong commercial thinking.
Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into meaningful insights.
Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Exceptional written communication, sharp, structured, and evidence-led.
