Clinical Nurse Specialist – Home Anticoagulation Stewardship and Support (HASS) Service
We are seeking a highly motivated, organized leader who will provide clinical leadership and management within the Home Anticoagulation Stewardship and Support (HASS) Service. The role is a Senior Registered Nurse (SRN) position, Permanent Full time, up to 76 hours per fortnight (1-FTE). A job share arrangement may be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist knowledge and advice on all aspects of anticoagulation to patients, carers and other health practitioners.
- Communicate effectively with patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Work autonomously and demonstrate specialist clinical practice in anti-coagulation.
- Contribute to teaching, education and clinical supervision.
- Participate in service development projects supported by the Nurse Practitioner.
- Maintain compliance with Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board Registration Standards and Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart.
Qualifications & Experience
- Registered Nurse with senior nursing experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of anticoagulation management.
- Experience in clinical leadership and teaching roles.
