Postoperative Recovery Nurse Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced postoperative recovery nurse to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caring for patients following surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Care for patients recovering from surgery, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process
* Monitor patient vital signs and report any concerns to the medical team
* Administer medications as prescribed by the doctor
* Provide emotional support to patients and their families during this challenging time
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
* Current nursing registration and licensure
* Experience working in a postoperative recovery unit or similar setting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
