Employee Experience and Safety Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Employee Experience and Safety Specialist to provide exceptional support across various areas within our organization. This role will deliver high-quality services for employee lifecycle initiatives, act as a reference point for operational processes and procedures, and contribute to organizational-wide activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to projects by providing administrative support and identify areas for continuous improvement to facilitate process improvements for the team and employees.
* Work collaboratively with business partners to provide timely administrative support for multiple projects and employee lifecycle activities.
* Oversee and contribute to the preparation and submission of reports, ensuring contributors meet deadlines and reports align with organizational standards.
* Provide administrative assistance for recruitment activities, internal movements, probation periods, and performance management tasks.
* Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including scheduling inductions and ensuring a positive experience for employees joining or leaving.
Reporting and HR System Management:
* Act as a super user for all PCS systems, including HRMS, UKG, Power BI PCS Dashboard, and Safety Event Reporting System (MyOSH).
* Conduct training sessions for employees and leaders on relevant PCS systems.
* Update HR Information and OHS management systems to ensure they reflect people and organization changes.
* Provide reporting across all areas of the PCS portfolio, including regular PCS reporting and ad hoc reporting when requested.
* Coordinate, track, and report on employee lifecycle activities, including performance review cycles, probation management, staff professional development, employee induction, talent management, training, and other relevant HR processes.
Health, Safety, and Wellbeing:
* Follow safety rules and take responsibility for safety at a personal and team level to reduce risk to others.
* Report hazards, incidents, and injuries and take part in actions to eliminate hazards.
* Respond promptly when safety issues arise.
* Maintain a proactive approach to safety by suggesting ideas for improvement.
* Attend BeSafe activities, forums, and training to foster a robust safety culture.
Requirements:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Commerce, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience gained through employment in a relevant field.
* Strong administration skills, preferably gained in a fast-paced Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or OHS position.
* Return to Work Coordinator experience is desirable.
* Proven experience in dealing with people and teams in a similar role with a customer service focus.
