Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing sourcing and cost management strategies with suppliers, pulling and aggregating demand for satellite hardware, and acting as a supplier interface for RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
About the Role:
* Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies with suppliers
* Pull and aggregate demand for Starlink satellite hardware
* Act as supplier interface for RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
* Partner with internal stakeholders to run the RFX process and evaluation
* Manage costs aggressively to ensure budget adherence
* Drive process improvements and implement cost-saving programs
* Present value propositions to executives
* Develop strong supplier partnerships
* Implement analytical data management tools
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, or supply chain management
* Technical procurement experience with PCB, PCBA, or electrical components
* Leadership and team-building skills
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of MS Office Suite, SQL, Access, and other current technologies
* Effective communication and customer service skills
* Ability to learn quickly and prioritize appropriately
