Job Title: Quarry Maintenance Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Professional to join our team at Ferny Grove Quarry. This is a key role that supports our operations in relation to maintenance and plant performance issues.
In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the quarry is adequately maintained, stock levels of components and consumables are managed, and all plant and equipment are operating within statutory requirements.
Your duties will include coordinating all maintenance activities, including shutdowns with contractors; ensuring adequate records are maintained and regular maintenance procedures are followed on all plant and equipment; monitoring improvements to maintenance tasks and processes or plant performance; and being responsible for overall fixed and mobile plant budget and cost control.
You will also be required to uncover opportunities for improvements/initiatives in relation to work practices, planning, and commissioning of new equipment, shutdowns, quarry operations, environmental, health, and safety issues.
About You:
* Possess a strong mechanical aptitude in crushing plants and mobile equipment.
* Have previous experience in a similar role.
* Hold a trade qualification (preferred but not necessary).
* Be familiar with using SAP CMMS and have a strong grasp of MS Excel.
* Be results-focused, self-motivated, and committed to risk management and zero harm.
* Be a team player who can multi-task and make quick effective decisions under pressure.
* Have a positive presence in building strong and effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
* Be a natural problem solver and enjoy carrying out root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
